Nursery Reveal: Tropical Flamingo Girl’s Room
When my husband gifted me (for our future baby girl) with Penelope, the hand knit Cuddle & Kind flamingo, I knew I wanted her to be the inspiration behind our nursery decor. Within this nursery are store purchases, homemade items, gifts from friends and family, wall prints made on Canva and prints purchased on Etsy. All of it is filled with so much love and a desire to inspire and create a peaceful space our baby girl. It has been a joy for me to put together in my nesting phase of pregnancy, and I hope that it can give you ideas as you lovingly create a space for your baby too.
I especially want to encourage you mamas on a budget. We were able to achieve much more with this nursery than I thought possible on our budget. I know that if you want to make a beautiful nest for your baby with limited resources, you absolutely can. With a little creativity and some trips to the secondhand store and Facebook marketplace, the possibilities are endless.
As you scroll, if you see something you love, click on the link below the photo to see where I got it. For mamas on a budget, check out online marketplaces and thrift stores first!

As you can see from the desk, this room was originally my home office space. I decided to turn it into an office/nursery so I can continue to work from home with little Taya close by. Eventually I will need to un-inhabit her space so she can have her own room, but for now I think it is the best setup for both of us.
I hope you enjoyed this nursery tour and that you were inspired by something! Let me know if you have any further questions about these items, I am happy to answer anything. Shoot me a message on Instagram right here.
Blessings,
Madeline
